Trees in KKL-JNF Forests

KKL-JNF has recently begun a special project of planting trees around the communities that border on the Gaza Strip, in order to block the terrorist organizations' field of vision and help prevent them from taking aim at the communities and the cars traveling on local roads.

"As of this moment, we are still studying the extent of the damage. There are certain things that we won't know until the spring, when we will see which trees blossom and find out if they're still alive.

There are currently 300 different varieties of trees planted in KKL-JNF Forests. These include fir trees such as pines and cypress, broad-leafed trees belonging to various families, and fruit trees.
