Descendants of Holocaust Rescuer Prince Eugène de Ligne of Belgium Plant a Tree in his Memory

“There is no more suitable a place for commemorating Prince Eugène and his wife than Belgium Park in Neve Ilan, a village near Jerusalem that overlooks the holy city.”

A delegation of the Ligne family, which is related to many noble families in Europe, arrived in Israel to plant an olive tree to commemorate the heroism of their predecessors, who risked their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust. Michel, the 14th prince de Ligne, led the delegation.
