On Friday, January 24, Dr. Eduardo Rojas-Briales of Spain, the Assistant Director-General and Head of the United Nation's FAO Forestry Department, and Professor Christine Farcy of Belgium, European Commission Vice President for Forestry at FAO and chairperson of the Silva Mediterranea evaluation panel, were KKL-JNF's guests for a 24-hour visit to the western and eastern Negev to see Israel's accomplishments in desert forestry firsthand.
