The Ilanot National Tree Arboretum, which contains over 300 species of trees from around the world, has been renovated and reinaugurated by KKL-JNF.

On May 2, 2014, KKL-JNF inaugurated the newly renovated Ilanot National Tree Arboretum in the Sharon region. The arboretum was originally established in 1950 by the fledgling State of Israel, to study which species of trees would flourish here. After it was closed by the Ministry of Agriculture in 1986, the arboretum fell into neglect. KKL-JNF has revived the arboretum, transforming it a national treasure that is accessible for all.
